How can I see my cashback balance and redeem it?

If your subscription plan includes Cashback rewards, your Dashboard menu will display a Cashback wallet which you can access to view and manage your Cashback.

Cashback is processed in monthly cycles. On the 7th of every month, Alaan reviews all eligible transactions from the previous month and calculates the cashback amount earned during that period. Once you decide to redeem it, this amount will move into Primary Wallet and can then be used for card payments, or be moved into your sub-wallets.

Cashback is processed in cycles to minimise the impact of reversals and refunds on your accounting processes.

Step 1: Navigate to the menu Dashboard. The Cashback Wallet will be displayed next to your Primary Wallet, or any sub-wallet you may have created.

Step 2: Click View to open a panel with all the details regarding your Cashback.

  • Available to Redeem - Amount earned in previous cycles which is ready to be credited to your Primary Wallet.

  • In Progress - Amount under processing during the current cycle which will become available for redemption on the 7th of the following month. Expanding this panel will show you the breakdown of the amount under processing. Once processing is complete, this amount will be used to cover your subscription plan charges and the remaining balance will move to Available to Redeem.

  • Total Cashback Earned so far - You can download a report with the detail of which transaction for which cashback was earned.


Step 3: Click Redeem Now to see your cashback move automatically to your Primary Wallet.
