Ownership Structure Documentation Guidelines

Updated over 2 weeks ago

We recognize that many companies have complex ownership structures. To simplify the documentation process, you may provide an organizational chart (org chart) in place of submitting individual documents for each entity in the ownership chain.

The org chart must clearly include for each entity:

  • Full legal name of each entity

  • Country of incorporation for each entity

  • Representation of all ownership layers, showing the path up to every individual or entity holding more than 10% ownership in the company

Certification Requirements

The org chart must be signed, dated, and include the designation of the signatory. It must be certified by any one of the following:

  • An authorized signatory of the company

  • A member of the legal team

  • A member of the compliance team

Note: Incomplete or uncertified org charts may delay the onboarding process.

For your convenience you can use the following template.
