Understanding Approval Based Limit Cards

A smarter way to manage spending — your card balance replenishes automatically as expenses are reviewed and approved, keeping your team's spending power available.

How It Works?

An approval-based limit card has a fixed spending limit that does not expire. As transactions are made, the available balance decreases — and is automatically restored once the corresponding expenses are submitted and approved.

Think of it as a revolving balance: approved expenses free up spending capacity, encouraging timely submission while ensuring cardholders can continue spending within their approved limit.

Example — AED 10,000 card limit

With a card limit of AED 10,000, your available balance decreases with each purchase and Once those expenses are submitted and approved, the balance is restored automatically.
