Uncleared payments are transactions which have been initiated but have not yet been completed or settled.
In other words, although payment confirmations are received almost instantaneously, a transaction is usually only completed a couple of days later. During this period, the various entities involved in said payment (your Bank, Visa, Merchant's Bank, etc) will review the transaction's details and actually move the funds from your account to the merchant's account. This process is called 'Payment Clearance'.
Although clearing a payment usually takes 2-3 days, in some cases, this process may take up to 30 days.
Here's a quick guide on how to check the status of your transaction on Alaan.
Step 1: Navigate to the Statements menu from the sidebar.
Step 2: Select the Wallet you would like to review expenses for. This will show you the list of months in which a transaction happened for the selected Wallet.
Step 3: Click on Uncleared Expenses to see the list of expenses for a given month.
