To help keep your Alaan card secure, we’ve added an extra layer of protection when adding your card to digital wallets like Google Pay or Mada Pay.
When you add your card to a digital wallet, whether directly from the Alaan app or by entering your card details manually, you may be asked to confirm the request in the Alaan app. This helps ensure that only you can authorise your card to be added to a wallet.
How does it work?
Start adding your Alaan card to your preferred digital wallet. (You can do via the Alaan App or manually through the digital wallet)
For added security, you may receive a notification in the Alaan app asking you to confirm the request if additional verification is needed.
Once confirmed, you’re ready to start using your card securely with your digital wallet.
Why this matters
This confirmation process keeps your card protected from being added to a wallet without your knowledge, giving you peace of mind and keeping your payments secure.
💡 Tip: After attempting to add your card to a wallet, check your Alaan app to confirm the request if prompted - it only takes a moment to ensure a smooth setup.
