  • Accidental double click: You might have accidentally refreshed the checkout page or clicked the "buy" button multiple times. This can trigger duplicate requests to the merchant, resulting in two charges.

  • Merchant mishap: Occasionally, technical issues on the merchant's side can lead to duplicate charges on your card.

However, if you ever notice a double charge on your account, here's what to do:

  1. Check your account: Review your recent transactions on the Alaan app or online portal. Look for any purchases that appear twice, especially if they happened close together in time.

  2. Contact the merchant: If you identify a duplicate charge, the first step is to contact the merchant directly. Explain the situation and ask them to investigate and potentially reverse the duplicate charge. They might have a specific process for handling such situations.
