Alaan is required by law to collect and maintain information on all Alaan cardholders as per Know Your Customer (KYC) obligations for payments. These requirements are intended to prevent abuse of the financial system.
The KYC process will have to be completed for all cardholders before being allowed to activate their first Alaan card. The KYC process is done on the Alaan mobile app and Nafath app.
If you are doing this process as part of the initial account activation or compliance process, skip to Step 7, as only the Nafath verification is required in this case.

Step 1: Open the Alaan mobile app.
Step 2: Click on the Cards menu at the bottom of your screen to view the cards assigned to you. If a card is assigned to you, it will be visible here.
