How do I choose which address my physical card should be delivered to?

When you order your physical card, you’ll be asked to enter your delivery address during the request process.

Once your request is submitted, SMSA will contact you to verify your delivery details. You can then confirm the address you initially provided or update it by following the steps outlined below.

Note: It is critical to confirm your delivery address on Alaan's Mobile App to initiate the card delivery and printing process

📬 Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Confirm address in the Alaan app

  • Open the Alaan Mobile App, edit your delivery address if needed, and confirm it to initiate the card delivery process.

Step 2: Delivery confirmation message from SMSA

  • You’ll receive a message from our courier partner SMSA, within 1–2 business days after confirming your address in the app.

Step 3: Complete address confirmation

  • The message will include a confirmation link. Tap the link to review and confirm your delivery address.

Step 4: Choose your preferred delivery location

  • You can choose to have your card delivered to:

    • The address saved in your SMSA account

    • A different location of your choice

Skip to Step 7 if you choose to deliver your card to the location saved in your SMSA account

Step 5: Select an alternate delivery option

  • If you choose to deliver at another location, you can:

    • Pick up your card from an SMSA office.

    • Share a pin location for delivery.

    • Enter your short national address.

Note: If you select a different pin location for delivery from the address you initially entered on the App, your card will be delivered to the new location based on the updated pin.

Step 6: Review and confirm the delivery address

  • Make sure all the delivery details are correct, then submit your confirmation to proceed with card dispatch.


Step 7: Your card is on its way or ready for pickup

  • If you selected home delivery, your card will arrive within 3 business days.

  • If you opted for pickup, you’ll receive a notification once the card is ready to be collected from the SMSA office.

Note: You can track your card’s status using the Tracking Number or by SMSA's app.
